Custom metal fabrication on a Patriot Campers X3 off-road camper: we relocated the onboard air compressor to make room for a battery upgrade, building a CNC plasma-cut steel mounting bracket to do it right. Built strong. Built to last. Made in Arizona.
This Patriot Campers X3 owner wanted a battery upgrade, but the onboard air compressor was sitting right where the new batteries needed to go. Rather than force a compromise, Desert Creek Worx relocated the compressor and fabricated a custom steel mounting bracket to hold it securely in its new home — freeing up the space and cleaning up the whole setup in the process.
The bracket was designed from scratch to fit the X3 and the compressor exactly, then CNC plasma cut from 1/8-inch (11-gauge) steel on our table, bent to shape, and finished in black. Cut precise, bent square, and mounted solid, it locates the Airbag Man compressor where it belongs and stands up to the vibration, dust, and heat that come with off-road and overland use. No zip-tie fixes here — just a real part, made to last.
