Custom Welding Skids
A custom welding skid built in Phoenix — a square-tube steel frame with forklift runners, custom lifting rings, and slots for full-size gas bottles, Built strong. Built to last. Made in Arizona.
This custom welding skid was designed and fabricated from the ground up by Desert Creek Worx — a rugged steel frame built to consolidate a full setup into one solid, movable package. The idea is simple: pick it up with a forklift or crane, set it exactly where you need it, and get to work.
The frame is built from 2x2 square tubing, with 2x6 box-beam runners underneath sized for forklift forks. Custom-made lifting rings are welded to the top corners for crane or hoist lifting, and two slots formed from 4x4 angle iron hold full-size gas bottles, strapped down so nothing shifts in transit. Expanded metal panels keep the contents secure and visible while still letting everything breathe. Every joint is welded solid — the kind of clean, honest fabrication that holds up to being lifted, hauled, and worked hard.
Once the steel work was done, the whole frame was finished in a flat black bed-liner coating for a tough, matte, chip-resistant surface that stands up to real use. The layout is practical and open, so it can be outfitted to suit whatever the job calls for.
