This New River, Arizona property had a large propane tank sitting fully exposed to the desert sun. Desert Creek Worx designed and built a custom steel propane tank cover to shield it — knocking down the heat and UV that beat on a tank all day, cleaning up the look of the yard, and keeping the equipment protected from the weather.
The enclosure is fabricated from 2x2 angle iron, welded up square and solid in our shop, then clad in white PBR steel panels. The frame is finished in black and the panels in white for a sharp, clean two-tone look that holds up outdoors. The smart part is the top: hinged lift-up lids with a center pull handle open right up, so the tank's valve, gauge, and fill port stay easy to reach for service and refills — no fighting the cover to get to what you need.
Sized to fit the tank with room to spare, the cover does its job without getting in the way. It's a straightforward example of custom metal fabrication solving a real problem: take something that was baking in the open and give it a durable, good-looking steel home built for Arizona conditions.
